body of a woman who was murdered near Kiahera Hill.

The body was discovered by residents on Thursday morning.

Witnesses said the body showed signs of struggle.

Authorities have since cordoned off the area as investigations begin to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder.

Joseph Manyatta, a resident, raised concern about the rising cases of insecurity in the area, recounting a similar incident that occurred last December.

"It's tragic to see this happen again. Last year, another woman's body was dumped in this same spot. We are starting to wonder whether it’s a trend,” he said.

“We hope that this area is not becoming a dumping ground," he said.

Residents are calling on the authorities to enhance security measures in the area and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Police said investigations are underway and justice will be served.
